When and Where: 8th-17th of September 2027, Island Usedom (Lüttenort, Koserow)
Application: until the first of april 2027 with Vita and work samples
Selection process: a Jury meets under the chairmanship of Sabine Curio at the end of april 2027; six artists in total will be chosen, who are going to work concretely on studying the place and the inheritance of Otto Niemeyer-Holstein
Scholarship & Services: Participants receive 500 euros, Accommodation at the Damerow Forest Lodge and an expense allowance
The End: The pleinair will end on the 16th of april 2027 with a studio festival and an exhibition of the pieces made in the meantime in the new galerie of the atelier
Tradition: This gathering continues the successful series of international artist-plenairs (previous topics were i.a. ‘The shore-beginning and end of the World’(„Ufer-Anfang und Ende der Welt“), ‘SEA-more’ („MEER-Sehen“)); in 2024 the Freundeskreis e.V. celebrated it’s 30th anniversary
International reach: 100 artists, from 15 different countries (i.a. Argentina, USA, Iran, Sweden, Poland) visited the studio since 1994
